The Northeast Bead Extravaganza was a success! Hooray! I got some awesome stuff and I already started playing around with it. It was so hard to not buy up the whole place, there was so many pretty shiny things! Luckily I had my trusty bff-le with me who kept me on track. I paced myself, and did very well. *pat on the back*
I got some really pretty natural stone beads and some freshwater pearls. I also bought some stringing materials to make the wrap bracelets I love so much. I’m super excited about it! Can’t you tell?? ;) I made one bracelet already, and from the looks of it, this is a technique that’s going to take me a few tries to master. I would be ashamed if I put it up for sale. haha But I promise, once they start looking professional, you’ll see them up in the shop. But for now, I will be plugging away, working towards perfecting it. Trust me, it’ll be worth it.
Oh! I almost forgot, here’s a photo showing you my awesome finds. It was hard to get a clear shot of everything, and trust me, those stones are much prettier in person. My camera definitely doesn’t give them justice. So you’ll just have to trust me, they’re awesome.
